HP EliteBook 840 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP EliteBook 840 G3 and they have built in SIM Card slot 

but even if i put in a SIM card into it, The cellular data option doesn't show up,
and when i try looking for the cellular setting i cannot find it!!!

PLEASE HELP ME!

Did you buy WWAN card option for your machine ? If NOT, your SIM card is useless. To check it, please go to Device Manager > Network Adapters, your machine MUST have one of the following modules

 

  • HP lt4120 LTE/EVDO/HSPA+ SnapdragonT X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module
  • HP hs31110 HSPA + Intel Mobile Broadband Module

Note: Around 90% of machines from same series do not have.
