I have HP EliteBook 840 G3 Notebook PC, and there is a SIM card slot, I Tried to use it by inserting a mobile SIM card but it didn’t work out. So if any one know how solve this issue please I need some help. I already install the Driver software but nothing happened.

Every EliteBook 840 G3 notebook has a SIM card slot.

 

90% of them are missing the optional, expensive and required WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to the cellular network.

 

All the SIM card does is authorize you to connect to your cellular provider's network.

 

In order for the SIM card to work, your notebook must have one of the following WWAN adapters listed in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category, and I highly doubt you will find either of them present.

 

HP lt4120 LTE

HP hs31110 HSPA
