I'm getting a "Your connection was interrupted" message fairly often when I am trying to load a web page. My old Dell laptop on the same network has never had this problem. I have tried multiple steps such as rebooting everything, making sure my system is up to date, and changing my wi-fi extender.

Your help is appreciated.

First thoughts are signal strength or interference. But you have wifi extenders and you could easily just sit by the router and browse for a time to eliminate that possibility. If your environment has not changed then interference probably could be eliminated (you are the best judge of that). The easiest thing to try is to reset the winsock followed by the tcp/ip stack. You have to do this as "administrator".

In the SEARCH window enter "cmd'

On the right select "Run as administrator"

At the prompt run:

> netsh winsock reset

> netsh int ip reset

Then restart your computer
