Sim card the wrong size?
Sim card fits but cannot connect to your network broadband provider because your product is missing the Mobile Broadband hardware module installed in the computer?
What?
To connect directly to your mobile carrier using your computer, you need both an active SIM card that is tied to your mobile network carrier account AND an installed WWAN broadband module in the computer.
Lots of computers come with a SIM card slot -- either external or internal to the hardware.
Some computers offer the OPTION of a mobile broadband WWAN module.
Few computers come with the WWAN mobile broadband module installed in the case.
You have to order the WWAN module at purchase or it must come as part of the purchased bundled options.
Example - SIM card setup (in Settings) and WWAN module (hardware / driver check)
