Hi:

The Bluetooth driver you need depends on the model wifi adapter your notebook has.

If you let me know the model of the wifi adapter your notebook has, I will post the link to the correct Bluetooth driver for it.

If you don't know that information, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

Thanks.

You're very welcome.

You need this W10 BT driver for that model wifi adapter.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29125/Intel-Wireless-Bluetooth-for-Windows-10?product=8363...

Before you install the driver, go to the Windows control panel>Programs>Uninstall a program.

Let the list populate and if there is any Intel Bluetooth software listed there, uninstall it, restart the PC, and then install the driver.

If you upgraded from W7 to W10 and there is no Bluetooth device manager category, then the BT was turned off during the upgrade and I will give you the instructions to get the BT to show up and work again.

You're very welcome.

A couple of questions for you...

1.  Did you upgrade from W7 to W10?

On some of my HP PC's they came with downgrade rights to W7.

2. Do you see a Bluetooth device manager category?

It should be listed toward the top of the device manager list in alphabetical order and show the typical blue oval Bluetooth icon with the white sign in the middle of the blue oval.
