I upgraded my windows from 7 to 8.1. Now on connecting to wifi my pc force reboots.

HP Recommended
Pro
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Changed windows from 7 ultimate to 8.1 pro 

On entering password and then pressing enter my pc hard reboots

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I would suggest performing system factory reset will put the computer back to the original factory settings in this way all corrupted and outdated software will be removed.  This sounds like the windows operating system is not installed correctly due to that computer is not booting into windows desktop after the password entered. I would suggest please initiate the 8.1 pro-OS installation process once again and check.
