You're very welcome.

Yes, you should have no problem upgrading the wifi card.

W10 will automatically install the wifi drivers but you will need this Bluetooth driver for either card you select:

Intel Bluetooth Driver

sp84420.exe

If your notebook has two antenna wires connected to the Mediatek card, you can upgrade to one of the dual band Wi-Fi adapters listed in chapter 3, page 21 of your notebook's service manual:

c03943657.pdf

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (1x1) WiFi with Bluetooth 4.0 combo   HP part #710662-001

Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260AN 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 WiFi + BT4.0    HP part # 717381-001

If it only has one wifi antenna wire, upgrading to a dual band card is not recommended because the wireless signal strength probably will be degraded, so open up your notebook and check to make sure that your notebook has two antenna wires before buying one of the supported dual band cards.

Hello Paul. Thank you for your reply.

I have two wires connected to the card. So maybe I can upgrade the card to get access to 5G wifi right?

I have also uploaded the photo please kindly check it out. Again thanks.
