The Intel Dual Band Wireless -AC 7265 on my HP laptop cannot detect 5GHz Wi-Fi but 2.4GHz. I tried several things, such as updating the driver or uninstalling, downloading from Inter Center, and reinstalling it. I even tried to set the properties of my internet adapter to 5 GHz, but it was only automatically set to 2.4 GHz.

If the modem is not putting out a 5ghz signal or the signal is too weak it will not show up.
If both 2.4 and 5 are detected and they both have the same name (SSIID) then the adapter will (hopefully) pick the best signal.
Log into your modem and makes sure that each band has a different name. My iphone never used the 5ghz band until I renamed the band by adding "5" to the name and then telling it to use the SSID that ended in "5". I actually did not notice any difference in internet speed FWIW.
Note that some WiFi adapters you can only :"recommend" a band.

As you can see from the capture below, the internet adapter's properties cannot be set to other values. It will automatically be set to 2.4 GHz. The modem utilizes both 2.4 and 5 GHz and uses a separate name.

Your adapter appears to be working fine I do not see any error symbols. Either it's defective, and not receiving the signal or the modem is not putting it out or the signal is too weak.
Compare the signal strength plots for your modem to the ones shown.
Using a smart phone you could try measure signal strength

Thank you for your reply. From the view of the internet adapter's properties, it works properly. However, it seems defective. Otherwise, it should be able to be set to 5 GHz or have a hardware issue because I tried all methods (including testing the internet speed) on Earth to connect my 5GHz Wi-Fi, but no results. I might roll back to the previous version or even lower.
