HP ProBook 450 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to build HP ProBook 450 G8s via SCCM, have imported the HP WinPE 10 drivers and 450 G8 21H2 drivers into the boot image on SCCM but when the laptops restart, they do not have a NIC adapter.

Does anyone know where to get the correct driver for the i219-V or perhaps something that works? When importing into SCCM they appear as the i217-LM

thank you

Hi:

I believe that the HP 450 G8 comes with the Realtek ethernet adapter according to the specs.

Try the Realtek ethernet driver.

Hi,

When booting from Network (PXE) it states

UEFI N/W - IPV4 Network - Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (13) I1219-V  - this on the 450 G8 and 640 G8 models,

thank you

Interesting...

OK...I have used 7-Zip to explore the Intel NIC exe file on the support page, and it definitely has driver support for the I219-V when I look into the setup information file.

What I have done is to zip and attach the extracted driver folder below.

Unzip the file and see if it will work for you.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file which shows driver support for the I219-V.

The driver is in the E1D driver folder inside the file package.

Thanks for this, unfortunately SCCM seems to disable it after installation

You're very welcome.

Sorry that didin't work for you.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

I don't know how many of those notebooks you have to install the ethernet drivers for, but you may have to resort to installing the drivers on each notebook individually.
