Hi:

 

If your notebook has the RTL8821CE Wi-Fi adapter, the only driver available from Realtek/HP is this one:

 

2023.79.619.2018

You install the driver and if the Wi-Fi works afterward then the driver was new enough to support the Realtek Wi-Fi card your notebook has.

 

It's your only choice, so you may as well give it a try.

 

Otherwise, you will either have to use a USB Wi-Fi adapter or install Windows 10.

 

Windows 8.1 is not a supported operating system for your notebook.
