HI,
I have an HP Spectre I bought last year. Yesterday, while at a restaurant, I used their public wifi (chik-fil-A) and it worked for 4 min before all wifi options going away. It just says no internet and there are no wifi options to choose from. I am back home and have wifi on my other laptop - an ancient beast.
I tried updating the driver per a previous posting but nothing happened. it says i have a "code 10".
i am not super computer savvy on this type of stuff and i don't have any IT help. What should I try next?
Thanks all!
Jackie

I have the same question. Uninstalling the Intel Network adapter and restarting the computer doesn't work. I can't update Windows, again, or install new Intel wi-fi driver because I can't connect to the internet. Changing Intel driver properties to 5GHz doesn't help. This problem has happened multiple times on my kids laptops with Windows 10 updates but I don't remember how HP helped me solve the problem.

Hi KateAlex,
I FINALLY got mine going by directly connecting to my computer to the router and then i was able to download new drivers I needed from the hp website. That was the only way i could get the internet working on the laptop to fix it.
If you type in your computer style in the hp site when searching for drivers, it will run a scan on the computer and tell you what it needs. It was all free.
Not sure if that helps you and your issue but that's how I did mine. 🙂
