After reformatting my laptop, it cannot connect to the internet anymore. I tried checking the network adapters and installing diffrent wi-fi adapters but none of them worked. Please help.

Hi @prsly
It helps greatly if you identify your notebook with its complete HP Product name or product number.
You can find the HP Product name or product number on the bottom of the notebook in tiny print.
Without that information it is almost impossible to give you driver and notebook specific help.
Return here after you have provided the information that I requested.

The following link goes to the Broadcom wifi adapter driver software that should help resolve your issue
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71994.exe
You can put that driver software in a USB memory stick to install it in your notebook's OS.
Why do you have Windows 8.1 selected as the operating system? Did you select it in error?
According to the documentation that HP provides for specifications, Windows 10 Home was delivered with the ultrabook.
