Starting a few days ago, my Omen 15 laptop (OMEN Laptop 15-ek0xxx, Product number: 2A137UA#ABA, Serial number: 5CD033GY28) will no longer connect to the internet via the house wifi. It will connect to the modem, but there is no internet connection at all. The other devices in our home (two smartphones, two other laptops) still connect without any problem using the same wifi. The Omen laptop can still use my iPhone hotspot to connect to the internet, but it can no longer connect via the house wifi.
I have taken the laptop to Best Buy for repair, and they were able to fix it to where it connected to their wifi at the store, but at home it still would not connect.
I worked online with Microsoft support personnel for several hours, and they applied many potential fixes remotely, but nothing worked. They said I would need to contact HP for a solution. They noted that there are currently no available drivers from the HP website for my model laptop.
I also tried purchasing and setting up a separate internet adapter (an ASUS USB-AC53 Nano), since that seems to have been a successful workaround for others with this issue, but the laptop still cannot connect to the internet, with the internal wifi adapter or the purchased one, unless I turn on my iPhone hotspot.

Hi:
You didn't mention what operating system you are running, but there are W10 drivers for your notebook.
OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0013dx Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support
The Intel Wi-Fi drivers on the support page are out of date.
Use the latest driver directly from the Intel website.
Windows® 10 and Windows 11* Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel® Wireless Adapters
If updating the Intel Wi-Fi driver to the latest version does not work, I recommend that you back up your personal files to a portable hard drive and use the HP cloud recovery tool to make a bootable USB recovery drive to factory reset the hard drive to its 'Out of the Box' condition.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
Since you are having issues connecting to the internet, if you need to use the tool on another PC, you have to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window.
Your notebook's product number is: 2A137UA#ABA
