First thing to check: Go to Settings, then Network & Internet (I'm on Windows 11 but it should be the same or similar). Make sure that the WiFi setting is set to "On".
If that isn't the issue, run the HP Support Assistant. Hit Check Your Operating System, if it is a driver issue this should fix it. Also, go to See all Fixes and Diagnostics, and launch Fix Your Network
At that point, if you're still not getting any networks showing, perhaps your WiFi card is bad, or a break/disconnection to the WiFi antenna.

Had the wireless nic disappear from my HP-15 red racer laptop device list after Windows update last night.. So I had to go to the windows update screen in the settings tab and the new driver was listed as waiting to install.. If it is not there then you may have to connect with a wired connection to get it to download using windows update tool.. This may or may not be what you are having as an issue but it might point you in the right direction..

Good point recommending wired connection - of course the Support Assistant needs to be connected to the internet...either using the Support Assistant or going directly to the HP Support site would make the driver available, assuming that it's a driver issue (likely unless the WiFi setting was inadvertently turned off).
While a WiFi card can go bad, it's not something that happens often.
