My Laptop is Missing it's Network Adapter Driver and Wifi doesn't work. What Can I Do to Fix It?

Hi:

 

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Realtek RTL8822BE wifi adapter.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

Below is the link to the wifi driver you need for that model wifi adapter.

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112305.exe

 

If you do not have internet, download the file from another PC, copy it to a USB flash drive.

 

Plug the flash drive into your HP Stream notebook, and double-click the file to start the driver installation process.

I downloaded the driver and restarted the computer but it didn't work!?

Since that is the driver you need for the model wifi adapter your notebook has, unfortunately I wouldn't know why it didn't work.
