Hi @SujalMarnholkar,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is when your laptop connects to Wi-Fi but shows “No Internet”, especially when you can’t run online troubleshooting. Let’s fix this step by step.

Steps to Resolve “Connected, No Internet” on Windows 11

1. Restart Network Components

  • Turn off your router/modem for 60 seconds, then power it back on.
  • Restart your HP laptop.

2. Run Windows Network Troubleshooter (Offline)

  • Press Windows + ISystem → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters.
  • Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.

3. Reset Network Settings

  • Press Windows + XWindows Terminal (Admin).
  • Type:   netsh winsock reset
                netsh int ip reset
                ipconfig /release
                ipconfig /renew
                ipconfig /flushdns
  • Restart your laptop.

4. Update Wireless Driver

  • Go to Device Manager → Network adapters → [Your Wi-Fi adapter] → Update driver.
  • If offline, download the latest driver from HP on another device: 👉 Official HP® Support

5. Check DNS Settings

  • Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings.
  • Right-click Wi-Fi → Properties → Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
  • Set DNS to: Preferred: 8.8.8.8
                         Alternate: 8.8.4.4

6. Disable Power Saving for Wi-Fi

  • Device Manager → Network Adapter → Properties → Power Management → Uncheck “Allow computer to turn off this device to save power.”
