Hi this is my very first post,I've been seeing an issue with laptops just randomly not seeing the router in your homes ,I too had the same exact issue and being around computers and working on them and building them I had enough knowledge to fix mine and I'm gonna hopefully fix all of yours,  i run an asus gaming laptop and most likely it wont be any different on a your running the same os as i do.

For me he issue lies in the wifi settings it's self.

Go to:

- device manager

-network adapter

-right click your wifi card from the list

- properties

-driver

- update driver

- click the "browse my computer for drivers"

- click "let me pick from a  list of available drivers on my computer "

In the next screen that pops up you should see 2 different drivers there ,click on the Microsoft  driver if your wifi is now using that  Intel driver or vise versa and click next ,it will Install that driver .no need to restart computer but doesn't hurt to anyways.

hope that works for you all , Give me a heads up if it does .

Hi @Sometimesgoodso,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with wireless connectivity on your Laptop.

-Perform a power drain on your PC.

1) Unplug the power cord from the PC & wall.

2) Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it is a detachable part and keep it aside.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the AC adapter, then connect it to the wall and to the charging port on your PC.

5) Power on the PC and wait for the PC to boot into Windows.

- Kindly refer to the steps on this link to troubleshoot and let me know if that resolves the issue.

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
