We as a school have a fleet of HP Probooks. Some of our user are reporting the drop of network connection. When brought to IT for service we notice that the wifi card on the machine cant find any wifi available. Click to find a wifi to connect to but the list comes out empty, nothing found. So far i have been to resolve this by performing a Network reset on the device.
It seems to work for some but then we get reports that they lost the connection again. Before telling me to go to driver Power Management to uncheck save power, our device don't have the Power Management tap option under properties in the WiFi driver.
I see several people complain about the wifi with HPs i wonder if there is anything we can do to address this issue. The first time we buying HPs and this is a not a good impression so far for our users.
