Hi @JimS1943,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to reset your HP OfficeJet Pro 9110b printer to its factory settings and then change the internet access from wireless to Ethernet, follow these steps:

Factory Reset

Turn on the Printer: Ensure your printer is turned on.

Access the Control Panel: On the printer's control panel, locate and press the Setup button (usually represented by a gear icon).

Navigate to the Printer Maintenance Menu:

  • Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Printer Maintenance or Tools menu.

Select the Restore Factory Defaults Option:

  • Choose Restore Factory Defaults or a similar option from the menu.

Confirm the Reset:

  • Confirm your choice if prompted. The printer will reset and restart.

Change Internet Access from Wireless to Ethernet

Connect the Ethernet Cable:

  • Plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the printer and the other end into your router or network switch.

Access Network Settings:

  • After the factory reset, the printer will start in setup mode. On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Network or Wireless settings.

Select Wired Network Setup:

  • Choose Wired Network Setup or Ethernet. Follow the prompts to connect the printer to your network via Ethernet.

Confirm the Connection:

  • Ensure the printer obtains an IP address from the router and is connected to the network. You can print a network configuration page to verify this.

Reinstall Printer Software:

  • On your computer, reinstall the printer software if needed. This can be done by downloading the latest drivers from the HP website or using the installation CD that came with the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
