Will this on my laptop.......

Hi:

 

After searching the forum, I cannot find any posts regarding if that model card works in a 4540s.

 

The model came out during a time when HP was transitioning from the BIOS whitelists to allowing any wifi card to work in a notebook.

 

They don't publish that info, so all you can do is take a gamble on it that it might work.

 

However, I would narrow my search down to this one particular card...search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card...

 

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

 

If you decide to take a chance on it, please reply back and let us know the results.
