Hello to whoever is reading this. I have Major Problems with my laptop. I have a HP 15-d035dx Notebook PC ( Energy Star). Here's some background information about this laptop. The laptop was working fine until one day it gave me a "boot device not found". It was running on the default 8.1 before this happened. I went on another computer and created a windows 10 recovery disk to my flash drive. The computer worked again. The wifi connectivity on worked when I was very close to a router or while using an ethernet cord. Then after a year of not using the laptop. I start using it again. Now whenever I try to connect to the WiFi I get "cant connect to this network". The laptop doesn't work with ethernet anymore. It uses realtek rtl8188ee 802.11 bgn wifi adapter. I've tried everything recommend by previous forums and the HP virtual agent but nothing works. I also tried deleting the driver and updating it. Nothing worked. I also noticed when I tried to connect to the WiFi it would say airplane mode off and blink the screen. The airplane mode wasn't on prior. Also I noticed that the computer doesn't charge anymore because it say "battery not detected". Also when I turn on the laptop it says CMOS checksum invalid. When I go into BIOS is see ! Network Adapter. I don't Know what that means. Its not my WiFi because my other laptop and other devices connect to the internet fine.
Please help me:'(

Hi
"boot device not found"
This is sometimes a corrupted software install and/or a Failing Hard Drive.

to make USB Recovery/Repair/Rebuild/Re-Installation media.

The age of the PC could mean that the CMOS/RTC battery needs replacing, rather than a BIOS update.
