I have been having problems with my internet provider, so I am hoping to be preemptive making sure my phone can be utilized as a hotspot if there's a problem.  It will connect to the PC, after a minute or two, but the WiFi lists No Internet alongside the hotspot.

Firstly, yes, I checked if the adapter needs updating, twice.  It does not.  Second, I cleared the saved network info on the old hotspot and added the new one.  No difference.  Finally, I went to the Network Troubleshooter, and it gave the response "Troubleshooter Could not identify the issue".

Does your phone have Data or just a phone ? If ONLY a phone, you can't connect to Internet.

It has an unlimited data plan and has worked before as a hotspot, so if it suddenly doesn't, it's news to me.
