I am trying to install. windows 11 back onto my HP notebook.. I installed a new hard drive And now, when I go back to. install windows from. my usb drive. It gets to the point that it wants my Wi-fi driver installed?
Found the driver on the HP website and. click the download button. However, in my download Folder. the file does not look. correct. It does not work and I was wondering if there is a way to get the driver download in a executable file. That's what it shows on the website, but I cannot get it to download.
Thank you in advance.

If you have difficulty installing wifi drivers during initial setup of W11, you can disable the internet connection requirement and use a local account to complete the setup. Click the link below for how to do it.

Upon a completion of the setup, you can install the wifi driver from a usb drive and switch to a Microsoft account if you wish.
