Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

In the HP Printer Assistant software, select Print, and then select HP Device Toolbox

Click the System tab, and then click the Save and Restore page. Select Restore Defaults

Next, try connecting the printer again

Update the Firmware

If your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M180nw printer is not connecting to the WiFi in your home, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check that the printer is turned on and in range of your WiFi network.
  2. Make sure that your WiFi network is working properly and that other devices are able to connect to it.
  3. Restart your printer and router by turning them off and then back on again.
  4. Ensure that the printer is not in Airplane mode or another mode that may disable WiFi connectivity.
  5. Check that the WiFi password you entered on the printer is correct and that there are no typos or errors.
  6. If your WiFi network has a dual-band feature, make sure that your printer is connected to the correct band (2.4GHz or 5GHz).
  7. Reset your printer's network settings by going to the printer's control panel, selecting "Network Settings," and then choosing "Restore Network Defaults."
  8. Update the printer's firmware to the latest version, which may include bug fixes or improvements related to WiFi connectivity.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to contact HP support for further assistance or consider resetting your printer to factory settings.
