I understand you are experiencing wireless connection problems with your HP 15-dy1000 laptop PC series. You can follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Update the WLAN driver:
Go to the HP Customer Support - Products site.
Enter your HP computer product name and model number.
Click Find.
Select Software and Driver Downloads.
Expand Driver-Network.
Select the appropriate Intel WLAN driver.
Follow the instructions to download and install the driver.
Download and install the latest driver, SoftPaq:
To resolve specific issues with wireless connectivity, download and install the following SoftPaq:
SoftPaq Description: Intel WLAN Driver
Version: 21.90.3.2
Revision: P
Check and Reset Network Settings:
Open Settings and navigate to Network & Internet.
Click on Status and then select Network reset at the bottom of the page.
Confirm the network reset and restart your computer to apply the changes.
Update BIOS and Chipset Drivers:
Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.
Enter your serial number or product name.
Click Submit.
Select your operating system and version, then click Submit.
Click the Plus (+) sign next to BIOS and Driver-Chipset.
Download and install the latest updates available for both BIOS and chipset drivers.
