Hello
I bought 2 HP Stream on Black Friday 11/19...One of them is having a problem connecting to internet..
The Stream is verifying the router but not connecting, I'm getting no Internet Access. Its not a problem with our router, we have smartphones and other devices connected. I've tried Network Reset and Reset to original but nothing seems to work.

@PETENY
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
- When was the last time it worked fine?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Firstly, forget the wireless network on your HP Stream then reconnect.
- Click the Network icon at the bottom right corner of your screen.
- Click Network settings.
- Click Manage Wi-Fi settings.
- Navigate to Manage known networks section, then click on your network name or profile.
- Click Forget to confirm the action.
Next step: Disable the Power Off option for the adapter:
- Open Device Manager. (Win Key+R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
- Expand the Network adapters.
- Right click on the Ethernet/Wireless Adapter and click Properties.
- Click the Power Management tab.
- Remove the checkmark beside Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
- Click OK.
- Test.
If the issue persists then Reinstall the network adapter drivers:
1) Right-click on the Start or Windows icon and open the "Device Manager".
2) Expand the "Network adapter".
3) Right-click on the "Network adapter".
4) Click on uninstall and restart the computer to install a network adapter.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
