Product: HP Chromebook x360 - 11-ae131nr

I have a HP chromebook x360 that I purchased in 2018. The model number is 11-ae131nr and the serial number is [Personal Information Removed]. I can't connect to my wifi. The switch is on the "off" side and when I click on it, the switch goes right to the "on" side but it never connects. I've restarted my laptop and left the power off for days but it still doesn't work. I never turned the switch off to begin with. Not sure why or how this happened. Please help. Thank you.
