You can purchase an external usb dual band wireless N or AC adapter.

Hi:

 

The ethernet chip is part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded or replaced.

 

The easiest thing to do would be to purchase an external usb to RJ-45 10/100/1000 ethernet adapter.
