HP ELITEBOOK 745 G5

I INSERTED A SIM CARD INTO THE SIM SLOT AND THE NETWORK WAS IDENTIFIED BUT IT SAY NO SERVICE. DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SIM CARD I INSERT. HOW DO I RESOLVE THIS ISSUE?

A SIM card will not work unless your notebook has one of the optional but required WWAN adapters installed that is needed to connect to a cellular network.

Maybe 1 in 10 of the 745 G5's have that option.

All the SIM card does is allow you to access your cellular provider's network.

Your notebook must have one of the following WWAN adapters installed and reporting present and working in the device manager under the Network adapters device manager category:

HP lt4132, LTE/HSPA+
Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced
