Product: HP Pavilion 14 Laptop PC 14-dv2000 (4Z018AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

In my HP Pavilion 14, I need to know how and will my laptop connect to a wired LAN connect. In my college, students are asked to connect to LAN via RJ45 jack, but my laptop doesn't have one. So, is it possible to connect it using a converter? and to which USB port should i connect, the type-A or the type-C?

You should be able to use either type of USB to RJ-45 ethernet adapter, but the Type A models are usually more available.

 

Make sure you get one that is compatible for Windows PC's.

You won't find any info on that. 

 

If it were me, I'd go with the sure thing and go with a USB-A option because I know those will work and have been around for many years.
