Network Controller Driver help

Hello,

Trying to fix my sister's laptop and found that there was no driver installed for the Network Controller in Device Manager.

I've tried installing a couple of drivers already but assume I got the wrong ones. Can someone help me find the correct driver please.

You need this driver for the Intel 3165 AC wifi adapter.

This package contains drivers for the Intel Wireless LAN adapter in supported computer models that are running a supported operating system.

You will also need the bluetooth driver...

This package contains the driver installation package for the Intel Bluetooth in the supported computer models running a supported operating systems.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your reply.

I tried installing poth packages you linked above but it hasn't worked.

When installing both, whilst having an external USB network adapter plugged in, an error box popped up (see image).

I then 'Reinstalled using recommended settings' and the install completed but the error icon in device manager was still there.

I then disconnected the external network adapter and reinstalled both. There was no error this time but it still didn't fix the issue.

Any suggestions?

You're very welcome, Max.

The only other suggestion I can offer, would be to try the wifi driver directly from Intel.

1st one at the top left side of the page.

Odd that the Intel wifi driver right from the 430 G3 support page didn't work.
