Network Controller doesn't have a driver. I've tried troubleshooting and installing different drivers & nothing is working. Seriously, I'm about to lose my mind on this, PLEASE HELP.

How did you end up with that card in your machine?

The Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 was not an optional card in that model, which is why none of the drivers you installed worked.

Anyway, here is the driver you need for it...1st one at the top left side of the page.

Hi:

Since HP could have installed one of several wifi cards in your notebook, I would need you to post the hardware ID for the Network Controller device so I can post the link to the specific driver you need for it.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device.

It's what came with it. We haven't had it worked on since purchase, close to 2 years now maybe?

Interesting.

Let me know if the driver works for you.  It should.
