HP Probook 450 G0
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 in my HP Probook 450 G0 and I need help finding the drivers for "Network Controller" and an "Unknown Device". I think that's the reason why I can't connect to the WIFI because I need to install those

1. Network Controller

    Hardware Ids

          PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_088E&SUBSYS_40608086&REV_24

2. Unknown Device

     Hardware Ids

          ACPI\HPQ6007

          HPQ6007

     Physical Device Object Name

        \Device\00000057

Hi:

Try manually installing the wifi driver.

Go to the device manager.

Click on the Network Controller needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.

Click on Update Driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for driver software' option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp65170.

Make sure that the Include Subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.

Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file, which shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted.

[version]
Signature = "$Windows NT$"
Compatible = 1
Class = net
ClassGUID = {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

DriverVer = 08/22/2013,15.9.1.2 ;DATE HAS TO BE IN FOLLOWING FORMAT MM/DD/YYYY

CatalogFile = Netwsw00.cat

Hi:

You need these drivers for the ID's you posted:

This package contains Intel My WiFi and wireless drivers for the supported Intel Wireless LAN adapters. This package is provided for supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65001-65500/sp65170.exe

This package provides the HP 3D DriveGuard Software for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The HP 3D DriveGuard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp77501-78000/sp77869.exe

You will also need this Bluetooth driver for the model wifi adapter your notebook comes with...

Sorry @Paul_Tikkanen , @Mans  you both must have replying while I was looking.

Here is the drivers support for that model

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-probook-450-g0-notebook-pc/5359405

You might need to click on the "Choose a different OS" and then pick Windows 7 64bit (assuming that is what you installed)

Then all of the drivers are present for everything.

I've installed everything in this list and it was able to fix the "Unknown Device", but not "Network Controller". Is there anything I'm missing?
