My HP laptop is currently not supporting 5GHZ.
OS - Windows 10.
I checked Device manager --> Network Adapter --> its is Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11/b/g/n PCIe Adapter.
I would like to know if there is any chance that driver can be manually installed so that it can support 5Ghz ?
After research looks like the driver required for 5Ghz is 802.11 ac. Has anyone faced similar issues?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi:
The Realtek RTL8723DE is a single band (2.4 GHz) wifi card only.
No driver or software will turn it into a dual band AC wifi card.
You can replace the RTL8723DE with this card...
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express. I see an Intel cards listed at the top of the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

RTL8821CE - Buy RTL8821CE with free shipping on AliExpress
On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.
