Solved!

Network security key length

HP Recommended
Pavilion g7 2233cl
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Greetings,

I have a Pavilion g7 2233cl and trying to connect to the wifi network. The network is asking for the network security key. The security key on the router has 27 characters. I cannot enter 27 characters for the network key. I also have other devices that use my existing password or security key. What must be done to accept 27 characters for the network security key?

Thank you in advance for the answer

After some more research, I found a similar problem with the solution and this worked.

Simply type the password, then use the copy and paste feature. This allowed the connection to proceed.
