Hi @siwetbak,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've tried a lot of good troubleshooting steps already. Here are a few more things to check and try.

Ensure Battery Compatibility: Double-check that the new battery is compatible with your HP Pavilion Laptop 15. Even if it's an official HP battery, it might not be the correct model for your specific laptop.

Check Battery Connection: Make sure the battery is seated properly in its compartment. Sometimes a loose connection can cause detection issues.

Update BIOS: Sometimes, an outdated BIOS can cause issues with battery detection. Check the HP website for the latest BIOS update for your laptop model and apply it if necessary.

Update Drivers: Ensure that all drivers, especially the battery and chipset drivers, are up to date. You can find these on the HP website or through Device Manager in Windows.

Power Reset:

  • Shut down the laptop.
  • Disconnect the power adapter.
  • Remove the battery.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Reinsert the battery, reconnect the power adapter, and power on the laptop.

Check Battery Health: If possible, use a battery health monitoring tool or software to check the health of the new battery. Sometimes new batteries can be faulty.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
