Hi,

The Bluetooth in my HP Pavilion g6 lapy (Windows 7 professional, 64bit, AMD A8 4500M) can not find any device around it. In short, it does not work. So as the basic step I tried to install the bluetooth driver suitable for my system downloaded from the official HP website using the system serial number. While installing the driver at the last step it gives a message like "No Bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure that your Bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation." and the installation remains incomplete. 

I have checked about it online. Saw some discussions too regarding this. But unfortunately could not figure out what to do. 

Some help to resolve this would be truly appreciated.

Hi:

 

What model wifi adapter does your notebook have?

 

That determines what model bluetooth driver you need to install.

 

You may also have to install the HP connection manager software from your notebook's support page, restart the PC and turn the bluetooth on using the HP connection manager software.
