The solution to the weak WiFi is that this card has too antennae. For some reason they have attached it to the weak one. On windows the driver is corrected. On Linux it is not. Go to : www.github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new

 

Go into the rtl8723de directory after cloning the repo. Edit the file sw.c

In this file you will see a line that has ant = 0

Change this to ant = 2

 

Then make and install the repo by following the instructions on github. 

 

You will then have good WiFi.

Hola soy de Costa Rica y he estado buscando por la red ayuda sobre los controladores de realtek rtl8723de, y gracias a ti al fin puedo sonreír.

Antes contar mi experiencia; Soy novato en este mundo de linux y pues en la red encontré los controladores y funciono, pero solo reciba una señal muy débil, y según los foros que halle, decían que había de cambiar la antena de 1 o 2, pero igual no funcionaba. Después de eso seguí buscando y pues me rendí, ya hoy decidí volver a probar y encontré esta pagina y he hallado oro..

Haz hecho que ahora si, pueda disfrutar de linux.
