Can't connect to the internet. Get media disconnect and no valid ip configuration errors. I have reset through command prompt everything I can. Uninstalled and reinstalled wifi card and drivers. I'm at a loss and need some help please.

Hi
Can you manually enter some configuration details, like.......
Can you ping?
C:\Windows>ping 127.0.0.1
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
C:\Windows>ping 192.168.0.1
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
C:\Windows>ping 13.107.4.52
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Also try, then post
C:\Windows>ipconfig -all
Windows IP Configuration

I have administrative rights to do any changes...I just not sure how or what to do. Here is a pic of the results of "ipconfig -all"
if you can't read it let me know. Other than getting media disconnected, still unsure what that even means, the only other issue that jumps out is there is nothing on default gateway. I am currently connected to my wifi but still no internet, though everything else is connected and has internet

Hi
169.254.01.255 Does not strike me as a useful address.
" everything else is connected and has internet"
What IP range is set for them?
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Centre
Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
It is a configuration problem, and if you could connect by cable and compare those values.
EG: Ethernet adapter Ethernet:

I don't have a range set up. I used default settings. I have other devices connected to the same wifi as my broken laptop, and those devices connect just fine.
I just connected the laptop ro the router using ethernet and I get the same error "doesn't have a valid IP configuration"
I'm not very savvy when it comes to computers so if you want/ need me to do something give it to me in steps. Please

Hi
""so if you want/ need me to do something ""
Not really.
That address 169.254 is a default ........

Perhaps use a search engine to understand the situation better.

Hi
Since you have other devices I hoped you could refer to them.
In my old Router/Modem, accessed by typing in
192.168.0.1 and my password obviously, I could assign IP addresses.
But I do not know what equipment you actually have, therefore cannot give instructions.
