My bluetooth earbuds are not appearing in the list of detected devices when I'm adding a device on bluetooth and I'm not able to connect my earbuds. There is no any issue while connecting earbuds to my phone.

Hi @Pranshu27,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Having trouble connecting Bluetooth earbuds to your HP laptop can be frustrating, but there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Check Compatibility and Bluetooth Settings:
- Ensure that your HP laptop supports Bluetooth connectivity. Most modern laptops do, but it's worth verifying.
- Check if Bluetooth is enabled on your laptop. You can usually do this by looking for a Bluetooth icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of the screen) or by going into the Device Manager (search "Device Manager" in the Start menu).
Put Your Earbuds in Pairing Mode:
- Make sure your Bluetooth earbuds are in pairing mode. Typically, this involves turning them on and holding down a specific button or combination of buttons until you see a flashing light indicating they are ready to pair.
Restart Bluetooth Service:
- Sometimes restarting the Bluetooth service can resolve connectivity issues. Here’s how to do it:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- In the Services window, scroll down to find "Bluetooth Support Service".
- Right-click on it and select "Restart". If it's not running, right-click and select "Start".
Update Bluetooth Drivers:
- Outdated or corrupted Bluetooth drivers can cause connectivity problems. Update your Bluetooth drivers to the latest version:
- Go to the HP support website.
- Enter your laptop model number and look for the latest Bluetooth drivers under the "Driver-Keyboard, Mouse, and Input Devices" section or similar.
- Download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers.
Clear Paired Devices List:
- If you've previously paired too many devices, your earbuds might not appear in the list. Clear the paired devices list and try pairing again:
- Go to Bluetooth settings.
- Look for an option to "Remove" or "Forget" paired devices.
- Remove any entries related to your earbuds.
- Try pairing your earbuds again.
Check for Interference:
- Ensure there are no other devices nearby that could interfere with the Bluetooth signal. Other wireless devices or even USB 3.0 ports close to the Bluetooth receiver can sometimes cause interference.
Try Different USB Port (if using Bluetooth dongle):
- If you're using a Bluetooth dongle, try plugging it into a different USB port. Sometimes, changing the port can resolve connectivity issues.
Update Laptop Firmware/BIOS:
- Occasionally, firmware updates can address Bluetooth issues. Check for any updates available for your laptop's firmware or BIOS from the HP support website and install them.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the Bluetooth connectivity issue with your HP laptop and earbuds.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
