I'm having an issue with the battery not charging. If I remove the battery and then re-install it, then it will charge. My Notebook is 16 months old.

Just completed the suggested down load so we'll see if that works. Right now the note book is charging but I removed the battery and then re-installed it yesterday. I'm hoping the down load works long term. Usually the battery removal trick only works for a day or two. Thanks for your help.

There have been quite a few BIOS updates for this model. Please download and run the HP BIOS Update and see if that resolves your issue. You can download the update here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Pavilion-15-ab000-Notebook-PC-series/77...
