You NEED SIM card to connect to your supplier (Phone company). In this case, without SIM card your phone is useless. Please note: You MUST have data plan/contract with your phone company otherwise they may charge you a lot.

Please talk with your provider to unlock you phone (if required). HP won't ve able to help you.
