Hi there,
I've just bought a new HP Laptop, AMD-based, only to figure out that it is impossible to make Zoom calls with it. Shortly after initiating a call, Zoom starts complaining about unstable connection, video freezes, and sound cracks. The Matrix is overloaded, please call back later. To make sure that it is not specifically Zoom problem, I've tried Telegram calls, and it went completely the same. Older Toshiba, and Acer, and HP (Intel-based, though) in the same Wifi network perform like a charm with no issues, so it turns out that it is Realtek-8821CE behaving badly, or its driver, or both. I tried speedtest.net, and it shows some interesting performance drops in upload speed, but I'm not sure whether it is the same symptom, or not.
Any ideas how to fix that?

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

@KrazyToad, thank you very much for caring. In fact, updating everything is what I did before calling for help.
Looking down the Google, I've noticed that there were many issues with various Realtek family wifi drivers few years ago, and most of them probably have been fixed to date. Yet, something remains. It might be something as simple as too big MTU or something as complex as flaws in the flow control, I don't know. But it surely affects the normal usage of the notebook, so I still hope there is a solution for it.
I dropped a message to the Realtek wireless support, BTW. They haven't responded yet, though.
