So, I have an ASUS router with the EZ printer sharing function. I have connected my printer to the router via USB but I can't find the printer in windows. When I surf in to my router I can see the printer via the router firmware, and the router has detected model of my printer.
I've tried with the only software available for my printer, to no avail. I've also downloaded a software from ASUS, same progress there. Any suggestions?
Router ASUS RT-AC51U
Printer HP Deskjet 5550
Computer 64-bit Windows 10

Apparently I had to install a file from ASUS on my computer, I just tried running it from winrar. Problem solved!

I have a similar problem with an ASUS RT-AC3200 and an HP Officejet 5610 connected via the ASUS USB port. I can see it via the ASUS router, but still can't get it to print. What ASUS software did you down load. I am working under Windows 10.
