Hi @ThuraiaM,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds frustrating to have Wi-Fi issues with a new laptop. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot.

Update Drivers:

  • Go to the Device Manager (right-click the Start button and select Device Manager).
  • Find "Network adapters," right-click your Wi-Fi adapter, and choose "Update driver."
  • Select "Search automatically for updated driver software" and follow the prompts.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Install any available updates.

Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Select "Internet Connections" and run the troubleshooter to see if it can detect and fix any issues.

Power Management Settings:

  • In Device Manager, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and select "Properties."
  • Go to the "Power Management" tab and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

Reset Network Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click "Network reset" and follow the instructions to reset your network settings. You’ll need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi networks afterward.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices that could be interfering with the Wi-Fi signal.

BIOS/UEFI Update:

  • Check HP’s support site for any BIOS/UEFI updates for your laptop model and install them if available.

Test with Another Network:

  • Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network (like a mobile hotspot) to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with your laptop or the network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for your help:
I've tried all the previous solutions, but unfortunately, none of them worked. I've also upgraded from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro, but it didn’t resolve the issue either.
The only exception is the Wi-Fi Adapter network does not support power management .
Regarding testing with another network, I have already done that, but it didn’t help.
