Hi all, I hope someone can help me, I spent 11 hours yesterday trying to sort this problem I have out. I have just bought an HP Pavilion G6 that's been upgraded from Windows 8 to 10. For the first day the wifi was on point all around the house, no problems whatsoever, the next day, I can only get a connection if I am literally sat next to the router (I'm with Sky and have Sky Q so its the black router) but as soon as I walk away from the router the connection drops and loses it completely! Our other laptop works perfectly as does our Iphone so I know its not an issue with the connection to the broadband. I have tried everything online inc power management, drivers etc, even restting the operating system, its driving me mad! I'm thinking is it to do with the upgrade? I do have a copy of Windows 7 which I do prefer so should I install that instead? Have also ordered a wifi dongle but its so frustrating! Can someone help or shall I just accept I have to use the dongle? Thankyou.
The network adapter is a Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter with Intel Core i3-3110M, 8GB RAM and 1TB

Hi:
Unfortunately, that is a known issue with the Ralink wifi adapters and W10.
Most of the time they just completely disappear from the device manager altogether and don't work at all.
There is no fix other than to use an external USB wifi adapter or go back to W8, 8.1 or W7.
