Hello, I have problems with my Bluetooth and WLAN connection. BT connections are not possible or most devices are not even displayed. BT connections of the devices to other laptops, etc. work without problems. Also the WLAN connection is unstable and loses the connection for no apparent reason and can also not ne connect. Sometimes it is only possible to re-establish a connection after several restarts.
The router's WLAN connections to other devices are stable and work without problems.
Maybe someone has an idea! Thanks a lot!

Sorry, that didn't work either.
I have one last ditch effort you can try, that will require uninstalling the AR3012 Bluetooth device, check the uninstall driver box, restart the PC and get the device to show up as a Generic Bluetooth adapter.

Hello, unfortunately BT still does not work. I tried it with both drivers that you told me. Whether the WIFI now runs more stable I can not say yet.
On the subject of BT: In the device manager I have 2 BT displays, which confuses me a bit. However, I am also not an expert. Once under Bluetooth the entry: "Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter" and under Network Adapter the entry: "Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network).
Is that correct or is there something duplicated and therefore it does not work?

Hello @ChrisTimtom
Please post hardware IDs
(1) In the Device Manager right-click the [your problem device] > Properties > Details, then choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".
What is listed under "Value"? ( Screenshot please or copy/paste text here)
(2) In the Device Manager right-click the [your problem device] > Properties > Details, then choose "Compatible Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".
What is listed under "Value"? ( Screenshot please or copy/paste text here)
best regards

Hi:
Sorry that neither driver didn't work.
The one I gave you was the last one that HP released for that model Wi-Fi adapter.
Yes, the Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network is correct.
See my screenshot. Has the same description under the Network Adapters device manager category.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try as everything looks normal from the looks of your screenshot.
I assume you have made your PC discoverable to other Bluetooth devices?

Hi, again, @ChrisTimtom
I do have one other trick up my sleeve you can try.
I found a newer W10 BT driver on the Microsoft Catalog website which I zipped up and attached below.
Download and unzip the file to its folder. Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager, click on the Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth adapter.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC and see if the Bluetooth works with the updated driver from Microsoft.

Hey Paul, unfortunately the other driver doesn't do anything either. It is really confusing. Yesterday a connection to the phone worked briefly, today not at all. Music box or headphones no longer work, they are also not displayed in the BT - search. Generally, strangely only devices are displayed that are apparently at some neighbors, but nothing nearby (exception yesterday briefly the cell phone).
If you have further suggestions.......
