Well, that is good news.

 

I installed this card in mine, and it works great but you would need to install W10.

I'm just worried that there is something wrong, but maybe it is just that lousy outdated Ralink card.

 

If you want a card that will work with W8.1, then this one would work fine:

 

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo   HP part number 724935-001

 

Worst case scenario is the BT still doesn't work but at least you would have dual band Wi-Fi.
