Ralink rt5390 melted my Pavillion G6 and started a small fire

HP Recommended
Example: Pavilion g6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I’ve had this computer for many years and it’s always served me well but recently… About a week ago I smelled smelled like an electrical short.By the time I have figured out it was my laptop which was sitting on some magazines it had already start to burn the cover of the magazine… If I wouldn’t have been at home? This could’ve burnt my entire house down! I know the laptop soul but this is a safety issue! What are you going to do about this? After this situation the laptop no longer has Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Also KT, I am currently working on this for my friend. It’s not my computer but all the issues that I’ll speaker wereRelated to his personal experience… The guy has six children and this thing could’ve burnt his house down! Why haven’t you guys done a recall? It’s all over the Internet about RALINK RT-5390 chips overheating and melting the case… Unfortunately she left a laptop on some newspaper and magazines and actually cut paper on fire and started burning it… He smelt it smoldering.Thank God he was home! Otherwise? This laptop could’ve burnt his house completely down!
