Hi..I have been having the same issues with the Realtek adapter and even after downloading the updated driver. Could you please tell me if I replace the Realtek with the
7260HMW WiFi Card, Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Mini PCIe Network Adapter with Bluetooth 4.0 Support W...
would my laptop work. I am so tired of having to restart the computer just to get the wifi to work again!
Thanks,

Hi:
In order to answer your question, I would need to know the full model number or product number of your notebook and if it also has the Realtek RTL8822CE Wi-Fi adapter.
If it does, the Intel 7260 card you posted won't work because it is a different form factor and would not fit in a M.2 Wi-Fi card slot that a M.2 card such as the Realtek RTL8822CE goes into.

Hi Paul,
I have an HP Laptop 17t-by300 Windows 10 64. Yes, I have the Realtek RTL8822CE WiFi adapter. It is giving me the same issues others are having and it is very frustrating. I had updated with the sp140207 and that worked for a couple days but no luck. I am going to try the sp144871 and see how that does. If you have any suggestions on what wifi card could replace the Realtek, I would be happy to hear. I am not that concerned with the Bluetooth aspect. Thanks for your help!

You're very welcome.
You should be able to replace the RTL8822CE Wi-Fi adapter with this model:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005.
You can find this model Wi-Fi adapter on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.
